主要从事合金及陶瓷材料的理论研究,致力于研究材料的稳定性、力学、热学、电子等性能方面的研究。主持广西自然科学基金青年基金项目1项,广西高校中青年教师科研基础能力提升项目1项。在 Materials & Design、Ceramics International、International Journal of Refractory Metals & Hard Materials、INTERMETALLICS 及 Journal of Alloys and Compounds 等国际期刊上发表论文共计10余篇。
